Autumn '09 / Spring '10 Tour 'Acoustic Diamond'

Un-plugged dates with Andy Wall on acoustic 'string' bass begin at
the Delish Restaurant in Hythe and continue in theatres up and down
the County of Kent. Come along and listen to Neil Diamond songs
as they were originally conceived i.e. with 'guitar on lap'!

May 2009 - Bob Teams up with Bose

The latest addition to Bob's equipment rosta is a Bose L1
model II PA system. This represents the state of the art
in modern audio production and sounds truly amazing!

Charity night at the Raja of Kent Indian Restaurant in
Tenterden, Kent in support of the charity 'Hi Kent'. Thanks to
organiser John Clayton and the restaurant for a great night...
An amazing £400.00 raised for the charity! 

Monday 6th April '09

Bob appears on BBC's The Weakest Link... and wins!

 

Bob took a ribbing from Anne before singing a special version
of 'Sweet Caroline', changing the words to 'Sweet Anne Robinson'

Bob took away
a winners cheque of almost £2000!

Thursday 26th March '09

Un-plugged gig at the 'Delish Deli and Restaurant
in Hythe Kent. Bob Drury, supported by bassist Andy Wall,
performed a set
of Neil Diamond songs in 'un-plugged'
acoustic style in this 17th Century eatery. With terrific food laid
on and guest appearances
from a few up and coming local
performers, it was a great night! More gigs to follow there...

28th Feb '09 Original Hotel, Roslin Nr. Edinburgh

On the Da Vinci Code Trail... Business for the Roslin Hotel has
not been brisker since Roslin Chapel featured in the film version
of Dan Brown's book 'The Da Vinci Code though it was even busier
on 28th Feb for Bob's 'A Diamond Experience' Show'! Bob returns
to the hotel on Friday 6th March 2010... more details from their

Bob returned to the Med for a solo performance on
the M/V Island Escape (sister ship to the Island Star).
Thanks to Cruise Director Ross and the entertainments
team for a warm welcome
on-board. Thanks also to
all the Neil Diamond fans on the ship for a great gig!

7th October '08 - The Island Star, Meditteranean Cruise Liner

Bob took two days out of his Kent Tour to fly from a rainy
Gatwick to a sunny Rome to join the Island Star in the Med for
2 'packed house' solo performances of his 'A Diamond Experience'
show in the ship's luxurious on-board 600 seater theatre...

A brilliantly thought out theatre show with edge, mind blowing
arrangements and oozing classb brought Neil Diamond
onboard the Island Star and was simply stunning. Our guests
couldnt get enough and it will be my great pleasure to present
A Diamond Experience further houses in the futurer>definitely a hit!pan>

6th November '07 - Stage Newspaper's 'Showcall Showcase' Thoresby Hall, Otterley nr. Nottingham. This annual event is organised by the prestigious 'Stage' newspaper as a platform for artists to present their acts to the entertainment industry. As 'A Diamond Experience' Bob performed three Neil Diamond songs -  America, Cracklin' Rosie and Play Me. Bob chose to appear using Neil Diamond's 'Jazz Singer' look for the showcase... thanks to the crew for a great sound and the terrific stage lighting.
